Perković Maraschino — a Croatian cherry liqueur in the Dalmatian Maraska tradition that put Croatian liqueurs on the global map. Clear, intensely aromatic, and gently sweet; the distinctive sour-cherry distillate of the Adriatic coast.
Heritage: Maraschino takes its name from the Marasca cherry — a small sour cherry native to coastal Dalmatia. Distilled rather than infused, traditional Maraschino is a clear liqueur with intense cherry-pit aromatics; it became one of the most exported Dalmatian products during the Austro-Hungarian era and remains a signature Croatian spirit.
Tasting notes: Clear with faint amber tint. Pronounced cherry-pit and almond aromatics from the distilled Marasca character. Smooth, gently sweet palate with a clean spirit finish.
Pairing: Serve neat in small cordial glasses or use as a cocktail ingredient (essential for an Aviation or Hemingway Daiquiri). Excellent over vanilla ice cream or fresh fruit.
