Crama Ceptura Bucuria Pinot Noir — a Romanian semi-sweet red built around Burgundy's most famous varietal. Soft cherry and berry character with the lifted aromatics that define well-made Pinot Noir.
Heritage: Crama Ceptura works with vineyards in the Prahova wine region of the southern Carpathian foothills. Romania's Pinot Noir tradition reaches back to the nineteenth-century introductions of French Burgundy varietals; the local semi-sweet style is a regional adaptation of the classic dry Burgundy benchmark.
Tasting notes: Bright ruby color. Sweet cherry and red berry aromas with a soft floral lift. Light-to-medium body with gentle sweetness and a clean fruit finish.
Pairing: Serve slightly chilled. Excellent with light desserts, fruit tart, soft cheese, or a casual evening of conversation.
